LeBron James will not play in Wednesday’s Lakers vs. Spurs game

The Los Angeles Lakers lost a frustrating game on Tuesday to the Dallas Mavericks when they got lit up like a Christmas tree from 3-point range. They shot well themselves from downtown, but the disparity in 3-point attempts and makes was a little too much for them to overcome.

They will get to deal with their frustration right away, as they will take the court on Wednesday versus Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs.

LeBron James played a great game on Tuesday, but he logged 40 minutes, and he was a question mark for Wednesday’s contest as a result. Sure enough, he will not play versus San Antonio.

Anthony Davis, who was playing hurt on Tuesday, and forward Jarred Vanderbilt, who didn’t play on Tuesday, will be available however.

The Spurs have the worst record in the Western Conference and are on a 17-game losing streak. Los Angeles should be able to defeat them without too much trouble even without its most important player.
