After celebrating a Super Bowl victory with a parade, Los Angeles Rams superstar Aaron Donald showed up to support the Los Angeles Lakers.
Donald, who was seen flexing while shirtless during the festivities, has reporters guessing whether or not he will return or retire. But all of that could wait. After enjoying a beautiful day of celebration in Los Angeles, the NFL superstar made his way into an NBA arena to watch the Purple and Gold.
Unfortunately, the Lakers didn’t have a particularly good start to the game. Utah held a 14-point lead with three minutes remaining in the third quarter.
But it all changed towards the end of the period. LeBron beat his man in isolation, then drove right to the basket for an insane finish at the rim. While hustling back to defend, he then noticed Donald standing and cheering at his courtside seats:

LeBron dapped up the three-time Defensive Player of the Year and related or not, he appeared energized for the remainder of the game.
The Jazz were winning, 92-80, with six minutes remaining in Los Angeles.
LeBron, however, had 15 points (of his 33 total) in the fourth quarter. He also added 3 rebounds and 2 assists in the game’s final stretch, ultimately leading his team to an impressive comeback victory.

After securing the win, LeBron made his way directly towards Donald.
LeBron, who played high school football, told reporters that the Rams superstar is the best defensive player he had ever seen. For what it is worth, he also shouted out Ed Reed and acknowledged he was too young to really appreciate Lawrence Taylor, who retired when LeBron was nine years old.
We don’t know what was said during his interaction with Donald. But maybe LeBron floated the idea of the three-team Los Angeles parade celebrating the Lakers, Dodgers, and Rams.
Or maybe, as Josiah Johnson joked, he asked him if had enough talent as a two-sport athlete to provide minutes at center. After losing Davis to injury last night, Los Angeles may need some help in their frontcourt.
