It's not often that LeBron James is questioned, but the NBA great has been scrutinised for pledging his future to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Despite being 38, James is still at the height of his powers, dropping a 47-point game the day after his latest birthday on December 31. The Lakers have turned around their form once again after another performance dip, but they still don't look like a side that's ready to challenge for an NBA championship.
The Lakers won the championship in 2020, but they could be waiting a while to win another, time that James simply does not have. But the NBA great has tied himself down with an extension regardless, something that has been criticised by analyst Bill Simmons.
