LeBron James continues to show NBA fans that age is just a number.
The Lakers star is 10 days away from turning 39 on Dec. 30, and he is playing in his 21st NBA season, but he’s still making incredible plays on the court.
On Wednesday night vs. the Bulls, coincidentally on the 20th anniversary of his debut in Chicago, he charged down the court between multiple defenders and flew through the air to dunk the ball. The crowd in the United Center erupted in cheers, even though James was on the opposing team.

James hasn’t given any clear answer about when he plans to retire, although he said over the summer that the “day is not today.”
Fans were in disbelief on social media as well, mostly because of how old James is. Seeing plays like this in a player’s 21st year in the league is not seen very often, but James is still as physically dominant as ever when he wants to be.

We keep saying it, but this should NOT BE NORMAL in year 21.

Good Lord.
LeBron James will be qualified for social security before he ever slows down. Absolutely mind boggling what he can still do at his age! https://t.co/BQjkrXlALT
