Gregg Popovich appears invigorated to continue his Hall of Fame coaching career with the Spurs. Following the team’s announcement that Popovich had agreed to a five-year contract extension with the team, praise from fans and players came from many directions, including Lakers star LeBron James.
James, who has spent time with Popovich with USA Basketball, has offered plenty of praise for the longtime San Antonio coach, and he took to Twitter to show some love—and to let Pop know that dinner is on him.
POP!!!!!! Congrats on the new deal. Next wine dinner on you 🍷🍷😁😉
