LeBron James, D’Angelo Russell will play for Lakers versus Bulls

The Los Angeles Lakers have had a hard time catching a break when it has come to injuries the last couple of years.

It seems LeBron James and Anthony Davis have seldom been healthy enough to be in the lineup together, and a number of other key players have also missed time due to injury.

James returned on Sunday after missing a month with a right foot tendon injury, and there was doubt he would play Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls.

In addition, D’Angelo Russell has already missed eight games since being traded to the Lakers in February.

But both James and Russell will be available to play against the Bulls in Illinois on Wednesday.

As is the case with every game at this point, this contest carries a high level of importance for the Lakers, who are ninth in the Western Conference and have had trouble climbing the standings despite very solid play lately.
