Schools in Lebanon will be closed on Wednesday following the tragic explosions that occurred recently. The explosions resulted in the loss of at least nine lives and left around 2,800 individuals injured, as reported by the state-run Lebanese news outlet NNA.
According to Education Minister Abbas al-Halabi, the decision to close schools was made in response to the devastating incident. The closure will also extend to technical institutes, the Lebanese University, and all private higher education institutions. This move is a form of condemnation for what is described as a criminal act carried out by the Israeli enemy against Lebanese citizens. The attack led to the deaths of innocent individuals and caused injuries to thousands more.
