Leander Paes joins Bengal franchise ahead of Tennis Premier League 2023

NEW DELHI: In a major development for the Tennis Premier League (TPL), Indian tennis legend Leander Paes has announced his acquisition of a stake in the Bengal franchise. The fifth edition of the TPL, set to take place in Pune later this year, will feature a total of eight teams, with Paes partnering with the Wardwizard Group to introduce the newest team from Bengal.

Alongside the Bengal franchise, the other participating teams in TPL 2023 include the Mumbai Leon Army, Punjab Tigers, Pune Jaguars, Bengaluru Spartans, Delhi Binny's Brigade, Hyderabad Strikers, and Gujarat Panthers.
