League of Legends' Wild Rift China posts AI slop that looks like a fever dream you'd have after watching KPop Demon Hunters, executive producer says it 'frankly, did not hit the mark'

Some terribly AI-generated crowd members posted to a League of Legends: Wild Rift account on Weibo. .

"Hey folks, yesterday we posted a creator-made video on our official Weibo channel that, frankly, did not hit the mark. When we post content on our official channels, it's on us to maintain a high quality bar and be clear about where it came from. Thank you for all the feedback, we can and will do better."

I'm not entirely sure that "creator-made" is the right term here, and the statement is very boilerplate, but it's clear the video somehow slipped past Riot's quality control. Original story follows.
