Lawrence Okolie has criticised cruiserweight rival Mairis Briedis for chasing a fight with Jake Paul.
The WBO champion will defend his title against Michal Cieslak at the 02 Arena on Sunday evening and has previously chased a unification about with Briedis.
Briedis, however, has frequently pursued Paul after his recent foray into the boxing world, something likely to frustrate purists of the sport.
With a unification fight looking unlikely or now, Okolie has moved to criticise Briedis.
“What you have to look at, just look at Jake Paul’s response?,” he said.
“He got mugged off by him, now he’s bought a million followers to try and get profile, each to their own.
“He has his own plan and the way he thinks the world is. If I pay too much attention to him then all of a sudden I’m taking my eye off what is in front of me this weekend.”
Okolie and Cieslak will weigh in ahead of their fight on Saturday.
