The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is now weighing what happens next to its subpoena for former Attorney General Pam Bondi after President Donald Trump fired. Several lawmakers, however, are still demanding sworn testimony about her role in the Justice Department's handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files.
In a statement, a committee spokesperson said, "Since Pam Bondi is no longer Attorney General, [Committee] Chairman [James] Comer will speak with Republican members and the Department of Justice about the status of the deposition subpoena and confer on next steps."
