Law firm Clarke Willmott has announced that it is helping to drive the expansion of independent bakery chain, Cornish Bakery.
The business, based in Paulton, Somerset, reported strong trading across its existing 51 UK outlets during its 2021-22 financial year, with five new store openings and a further six bakeries due to open in the first half of this calendar year.
Cornish Bakery reported a profit before tax of £3.1m in 2022, up from £1.5m in 2021. The company have attributed its growth to its tourist locations and a "strong recovery across it high street and factory outlet centres".
