FBI agents and local police searching the Houston residence of the New Orleans attacker have recovered precursor chemicals commonly used in the construction of explosives, according to a law enforcement source familiar with the investigation.
Following the New Year's attack in New Orleans, law enforcement officials have been executing search warrants in multiple states linked to the incident. This includes searches at the attacker's residence in the Houston area.
