Actor and anti-lockdown campaigner Laurence Fox has said he has Covid-19 and feels "shivery and crap".
The former candidate for Mayor of London said on Sunday that he had tested positive for the virus and shared a photo of a positive lateral flow test.
He wrote on Twitter: “In other news, felt shivery and crap yesterday. Turns out I have been visited by Lord Covid at last and have the Omnicold (if the LFT is to be believed!)
"On the #Ivermectin, saline nasal rinse, quercetin, paracetamol and ibruprofen. More man flu than Wu-flu at the moment.”
In another tweet on Sunday, he said he was on day two of the virus.
It comes four days after he posted a picture of himself wearing a T-shirt with a slogan saying: “No vaccine needed, I have an immune system.”
Ivermectin is an anti-parasitic treatment used mainly on animals.
It is sometimes used to treat parasitic worms in humans - but has not been proven to be effective at preventing or treating Covid.
Fox has previously said he will not get the Covid vaccine until 2023 - when he believes that the jab will have undergone sufficient safety checks.
