Lauren Goodger is seen cuddling her late daughter Lorena in the first photo shared of her beloved tot to pay tribute to her, following her sad death.
Former The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren, 35, announced the tragic death of her second daughter Lorena in July – revealing she felt broken.
Lorena tragically died shortly after she was born after she had a healthy pregnancy with the tot – however, Lorena had two knots in her umbilical chord.
Following her daughter's funeral in August and having only recently thrown out flowers from the day, Lauren is continuing to heal from the tragic ordeal and recently admitted she is still struggling with grief.
Now, the star has decided to share a photo with her fans and pay tribute to her late daughter.
Lauren, who recently got a tattoo dedicated to Lorena, posted a screenshot of her phone home screen, which had a black and white picture of Lauren holding her face close to Lorena's – as the tot is wrapped in a blanket and has her eyes closed.
As she shared the photo on her Instagram story, Lauren penned a touching tribute to the tot by writing on top of the image: “My angel baby is watching me and with us both,“ referring to Lorena watching over herself and her daughter Larose, one.
Lauren continued: “I was waiting for a better day and now your in a better place I love you Lorena.“
It is the first photo Lauren has shared showing her baby daughter's face. The reality star previously shared one other photo of the tot's hand in her's to announce the sad news of Lorena's death in July.
As she announced the sad news, Lauren wrote: “Lorena R.I.P 08.07.22 she was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister @babylarose.x … words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me
“there was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar.. I am broken.
“I am back home from hospital Me & Charlie spent as much time with our baby girl Lorena and I haven’t said my goodbye yet
“please can I ask photographers to respect our privacy right now as we have a lot of grieving to do and funeral organising that I just need this time & with my baby girl Larose she is my rock that’s getting me through this or I wouldn’t survive…
“I will never ever get over this but I will learn how to live everyday with Lorena in my heart she will be with me always and I will be with her again one day … My [angel emoji]Lorena I love you so much”.
