Ally McCoist hilariously pranked Laura Woods with an impression of her celebrity crush live on air.
The talkSPORT and ITV presenter recently revealed that her crush is Leo Suter, who is the star of hit Netflix Original series Vikings: Valhalla. Suter, 29, played Harald Sigurdsson in the movie and is from London.
Meanwhile, McCoist's celebrity crush was also named in the discussion. The former Scotland international claimed that his growing up was Hollywood icon Ingrid Bergman.
However, McCoist chose to take advantage and prank Woods after she admitted he has a crush on Suter. McCoist pretended to introduce the talkSPORT show on Tuesday morning with Suter as a guest.
As McCoist was speaking and it dropped silent for a second after he made the prank, footage showed Woods' face drop as she thought she had been stitched up. McCoist then decided to laugh at her.
Woods said: "Wait tell me you.... you didn't?" Moments later, it became apparent that it was a joke and Woods added: "Thank god for that. Oh my god don't panic me like that! I thought you were going to play something."
This sparked laughter in the talkSPORT studio between the pair as they continued their breakfast show. Woods decided to blame the producers, as well as McCoist for the prank.
"You are all in trouble behind the glass because this section says 'social media round-up' and that is not a social media round up," Woods continued. "This is stitching me up. You're (McCoist) are just as bad."
This comes after Anthony Joshua and Ruben Loftus-Cheek both revealed their admiration for Woods. After his victory over Jermaine Franklin, Joshua was asked by Woods about who is dream date would be, having previously said his celebrity crush was Beyonce.
However, it seemed like Joshua had quickly changed his mind. He said: "You," which prompted laughter from behind the camera and Woods herself. She then said: "This is perfect." But Joshua was quick to realise that someone had already said her name.
The heavyweight boxer claimed: "I know Loftus-Cheek's beat me to it." But Woods did not rule out a potential date with Joshua, adding: "Sorry. No it's fine, there's no competition."
Three days before Joshua's remark, Loftus-Cheek opened up on his admiration of Woods in a game of Chelsea SOS. After being quizzed on his celebrity crush, Loftus-Cheek said: "Laura Woods!" She laughed in hysterics and responded by saying: "An exceptional answer!"
Woods signed off from the interview by admitting: "It’s been an absolute pleasure and I'll get your number later!" Loftus-Cheek was said to be dating 2017 Love Island star Amber Davies in 2021 but his relationship status is currently unknown.
