Laura Woods in hysterics as Ally McCoist asks for sex advice after BBC's porn debacle

Ally McCoist left Laura Woods in stiches after jokingly asking her if there was "a move" to "bring on" the porn noises heard on the BBC's coverage of Liverpool's win against Wolves.

Viewers were left in shock when sexual groans were heard ahead of Tuesday night's game at Molineux. The prank lasted for several minutes - but host Gary Lineker and pundits Danny Murphy, Paul Ince and Alan Shearer managed to keep their cool amid the chaos.

Woods has called Lineker "a pro" for not losing his composure and carrying on. YouTuber Daniel Jarvis has claimed responsibility for the stunt - described by Lineker as a "good prank" - but the BBC have apologised to any viewers who were offended by it.

The bizarre incident has dominated the headlines since, with Woods and her talkSPORT co-presenter McCoist discussing it on Wednesday morning. Woods showed her admiration for Lineker by asking McCoist: "Gary Lineker is such a pro, isn't he?"

To which McCoist joked: "I wasn't too happy... at ITV, we only get a cup of tea and roll, don't we? They're having the time of their life there! Danny is having the time of his life!"

Woods struggled to contain her laughter before jokingly asking if the porn noises is "where all of our taxpayer's money goes". McCoist replied: "I think so! At ITV, you get a cup of tea and maybe a sandwich - and they're getting added perks like that, that's incredible!"

Woods then joked it was "real half-time entertainment" before asking McCoist to describe the prank. The Rangers legend replied: "Sadly I've never heard those kind of sounds in my life! The only time I've heard it is on the phone!"

The presenter responded by asking McCoist: "Who you like me to [describe it]?" McCoist quickly replied and referenced Meg Ryan's famous fake orgasm scene from the 1989 hit film 'When Harry Met Sally...' The Scot said: "Yes... Give us your best Meg Ryan!"

Woods described the prank as "a woman enjoying herself, sexually" to leave McCoist in hysterics. He replied: "Enjoying herself? She was having the time of her life, never mind enjoying herself!

McCoist then stunned listeners by jokingly asking Woods: "I know this probably isn't the show for it, but what brings that on? Is there a move?" Woods laughed and replied: "Is that a real question, Ally?" McCoist then directed his question at talkSPORT's listeners.

The BBC apologised the incident shortly after it happened. We apologise to any viewers offended during the live coverage of the football this evening," said a spokesperson. "We are investigating how this happened."

But Lineker does not believe the BBC should be sorry. The Match of the Day host told Newsnight: "We've certainly got nothing to [be sorry] for. If you told me this morning that tonight I'd be on Newsnight talking about a porn scandal, I would have been terrified."
