Love Island fans were left on the edge of their seats during tonight's recoupling. But the pressure was added by presenter Laura Whitmore, who was accused of speaking too slowly during the recoupling reveal.
Tonight's show saw the boys and girls reunited after they were separated for Casa Amor. The boys were given the chance to remain with their partners or choose to couple up with one of the new islanders. After they made their choice the girls then returned, but some had also chosen to couple up with another heartthrob.
But Love Island viewers were left hanging off Laura's every word before the decisions were made. The host was accused of speaking far too slowly during the recoupling event, dragging the drama out unduly.

Love Island fans took to Twitter to have their say on Laura's presenting style. Many were critical of her delivery.
Tula Poigy (@TulaPoigy) said: "Why’s Laura speaking at 0.01mph? #loveisland." Mrs harlow (@nigerianesehoe) added: "Why is laura speaking like this???"
Kenn (@merpcampbell) also commented on how slow Laura was speaking. They said: "Laura speaks like she’s reading to kindergartners. I know these aren’t UKs brightest but they’re not that dense."
CocoT (@MsTianna_Lala) thought that Laura may have adopted her slow speaking for another reason. She said: "Laura trying to be 'sexy' or 'sassy' is really not it! Pls just speak! One word every 20 seconds #LoveIsland."
Others realised that Laura's style had definitely added to the evening's drama. Claire Elizabeth (@claireet21) said: "Honestly, could Laura Whitmore pronounce her words anymore slower? On edge of my seat here!!"
House of Parsons (@houseofparsons) suggested that Laura could be about to bring her own boyfriend out for a recoupling. She has been dating Iain Sterling, who does the voiceovers for the show for around five years.
House of Parsons said: "Laura is waffling in this recoupling. Next thing she'll be bringing out Iain to recouple #LoveIsland."
