Laura Whitmore admitted that becoming a mother 'changes your priorities' ahead of the start of Love Island hosting duties tonight.
The 37-year-old Irish presenter welcomed her first daughter, Stevie Ré, with husband Iain Stirling in March last year.
In an interview with Good Morning Britain on Monday, the mother-of-one said her attitude to life has shifted since she gave birth.
Speaking about first-time motherhood on the show, Laura said: “It’s lovely. It changes your priorities a lot.
“If you have a fur baby, or a baby with less fur, it does change your priorities and puts everything in perspective.”
Laura also revealed that during the filming of Love Island she will barely get to see her husband Iain, the reality show’s narrator, as they will be on different work schedules.

The Wicklow native said: “I never see him. He works different hours than me. I see him more when we’re not working on the show.
“I’m not going to see him for pretty much eight weeks now.”
Love Island returns to TV screens on Monday night (June 6) with eleven singletons entering the villa in the hopes of finding love and possibly a life-changing brand deal.
The show will air at 9pm on Virgin Media Two in Ireland and will run for its usual eight weeks.
Laura Whitmore will return once again to present the show after she took over from Caroline Flack in 2020.

As always, Laura will be joined by her funny man husband, Iain, who's sarcastic voiceover is sure to bring a few laughs this season.
This year, the programme starts with a twist in the very first episode which usually sees the Islanders ‘couple up’.
The ITV2 producers have shaken things up this year and have asked the public to 'play Cupid' rather than let the singletons choose their own pairs.
There is also a change of location as the original villa in Majorca is unavailable, so production has relocated to the east of the island and a "large rustic stone villa".
