Laura Whitmore is currently on our screens as the host of Love Island, but the presenter has now announced she has an exciting new TV project up her sleeve that is a world away from the ITV dating show.
As the eighth series of Love Island is now in its final week, TV presenter Laura Whitmore has revealed she will launch a new venture named 'Laura Whitmore Investigates'. This comes after the radio host announced she was quitting her Radio 5 Live show earlier this month.
The 37-year-old presenter, who is married to Love Island voiceover and Scottish comedian Iain Stirling, hosted the weekly Sunday morning radio show on BBC for four years but confirmed she will not be returning once the current series of the ITV programme ends.

Laura has fronted the popular ITV reality show and its spinoff show Aftersun since its sixth series in 2020 after the late Caroline Flack stepped down as host after she was charged with assaulting her partner.
Following Caroline's tragic death later that year, Laura was announced as the show's permanent presenter.
In September 2020, Laura replaced Mel B as a team captain on Celebrity Juice which has since been axed after 14 years on screen.
ITV announced there will be two series of Love Island in 2023 – a winter series in South Africa and a summer series in Majorca – with Whitmore likely to host both.
Following Laura's departure, BBC Radio 5 Live controller Heidi Dawon, said: “Laura has made the difficult decision to leave her weekend show after a brilliant four years.
"We’d like to thank her for the energy, insight and humour she has brought to this programme and look forward to working with her again in the near future.”
BBC Radio 5 Live will launch a new Sunday morning show combining sport and current affairs discussion, which will lead into the afternoon of live football commentaries.
