Laura Kenny: Britain's most successful female Olympian retires from cycling

Dame Laura Kenny, Great Britain’s most successful female Olympian, has announced she is to retire from cycling immediately rather than attempt to qualify for this summer’s Olympic Games in Paris.

Writing on her Instagram account, Kenny said: “Thank you cycling for everything you’ve given me - including a husband and our growing family!
