Latitude Financial is the latest major Australian company to be hit by a cyber attack, during which personal data of almost 330,000 customers was stolen.
The non-bank lender provides buy now, pay later (BNPL) schemes to a number of major Australian retailers, including Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, David Jones and The Good Guys.
In October, about 9.7 million current and former Medibank customers had their data accessed by criminals. And Optus data was also hacked.
