Peso Pluma, who wowed audiences with his TV debut at last year's Latin AMAs, leads the nominations this year alongside reggaeton sensation Feid, with an impressive 12 nods. The duo is recognized in prestigious categories such as artist of the year, new artist of the year, song of the year, album of the year, and collaboration of the year.
Mexican artist Gabito Ballesteros is also making waves with nominations for new artist of the year and best regional Mexican artist. He is slated to perform his hits 'Lou Lou' and 'El Boss' at the event.
Puerto Rican star Farruko is in the running for best pop song, while Jay Wheeler will mark the release of his album 'Música Buena Para Días Malos' with a highly anticipated performance.
Yng Lvcas will showcase his latest single 'Jimmy Choo,' and DJ Deorro will deliver a special performance alongside singer-songwriter Justin Quiles.
Leading the nominations list are Bad Bunny and Grupo Frontera with 11 nods each, followed closely by Karol G and Shakira with nine nominations each. Eslabon Armado and Fuerza Regida have also garnered significant recognition with eight nominations each.
The Latin AMAs will feature a total of 76 nominees across 27 categories, encompassing a diverse range of musical genres including pop, urban, música Mexicana, and tropical.
The awards show will be hosted by Latin pop icon Thalia, alongside presenters Alejandra Espinoza and Carlos Ponce. The event will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, promising an unforgettable night of music and entertainment.
