Latest Tottenham injury news as four to miss Wolves clash amid Emerson Royal update

Tottenham Hotspur will be aiming to respond to their midweek FA Cup exit with another win in the Premier League on Saturday when they visit Wolves.

Spurs crashed out of the domestic competition on Wednesday night after falling to a 1-0 defeat to Championship side Sheffield United. Less than 72 hours later, Antonio Conte side's return to action and must focus their attention back onto their quest for a top four finish.

With Liverpool slowly cutting the gap between themselves and the top four, Spurs will be hoping to make it five wins in their past six matches with victory at Molineux.

Fortunately for Spurs, there are no fresh injury concerns to contend with. "We don't have team news. Everyone is fine like in the last game," Cristian Stellini said on Friday. "We are ready to play the next match with same squad."

One player who missed the defeat to Sheffield United was Emerson Royal. football.london understands that the Brazilian missed the FA Cup tie due to a knock in his knee, opening the door for January arrival Pedro Porro to start for only the second time. However, Stellini has confirmed the right-back is fine and is available for selection.

Spurs remain without four first team players in Yves Bissouma, Hugo Lloris, Ryan Sessegnon and Rodrgo Bentancur. All have been out for a few weeks now, leaving Conte thin on the ground in some areas.

Bissouma suffered a stress fracture last month and was forced to undergo surgery. Fellow central midfielder Bentancur sustained a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in the club's 4-1 defeat at Leicester.

The Uruguay international has undergone successful surgery but will remain out until the end of the season. Spurs captain Lloris has been out of action since the win over Man City after sustaining ligament damage in his knee.

Lloris, whose future in north London remains in doubt, is expected to return towards the end of the march, meaning Fraser Forster will continue between the sticks for the time-being. The same is to be said of Sessegnon, who has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since last month.

"He feels pain at the moment," Stellini told football.london. "We know only this but he can walk so it's important to feel that he came back to the bench with his leg [injury] and we hope that we can check in a few days that Rodrigo can feel better and he play soon."
