Tottenham interim boss Ryan Mason will be hoping for a reaction from his players today when they welcome Manchester United to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Spurs know they must defeat Erik ten Hag's men if they are to keep within touching distance of finishing in the Premier League top four this season. After Liverpool's win over West Ham on Wednesday and Aston Villa's narrow victory over Fulham on Tuesday, the north Londoners find themselves seventh - six points off United.

Mason will be hoping that goalkeeper and captain Hugo Lloris will be fit enough to retain his place between the sticks. The French shot-stopper was substituted off at half-time at St James' Park with Spurs 5-0 down.
"For the game on Thursday, we are still unsure," Mason said when asked if he would be available. "Obviously had a muscle problem so we are still seeing how that is settling down. Time will tell."
There is, however, a possibility that defensive duo Ben Davies and Clement Lenglet could start. Davies has missed the last four games, though did return to the bench for Sunday's defeat.
Lenglet was forced off after 35 minutes in the 3-2 home defeat to Bournemouth but was deemed fit enough to make the bench at Newcastle. In his pre-match press conference, Mason discussed the possibility of them starting.
"We're going to review them today [Wednesday], we have training in the afternoon. We're going to have to see them today. Both of them have been out. Clem came off in a game recently and Ben has been out for a period of time, so I think we will have a better idea on that one after training today."
Emerson Royal remains out after undergoing surgery on the meniscus in his knee last month. The wing-back's timeframe to recovery was set as four to six weeks, meaning he could be available for next weekend's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.
Midfield duo Yves Bissouma and Rodrigo Bentancur remain sidelined, with the latter out for the season after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Wing-back Ryan Sessegnon is also out and has not featured since the win over Manchester City.
