There is a clear frontrunner in the betting on who will replace Ryan Tubridy as the next host of the RTE Late Late Show.
Tubridy shocked bosses and TV viewers last week by announcing he was standing aside as the host at the end of the current series after 14 years at the helm.
On Friday night's show, he hinted at his replacement might be by wishing them luck, "whoever she may be," suggesting a female host is being lined up for the flagship show for the first time.
