Latest Public Health Scotland Covid update as hospital patient numbers rise over weekend

A further 5,307 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Scotland including 291 in Ayrshire.

Data published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland show there are currently 1,051 patients with Covid in Scottish hospitals, which is up 91 from Friday.

There are currently 13 people being treated with the disease in ICUs across the nation.
