Celtic will return for an offer for Gvidas Gineitis if they qualify for the Champions League, according to reports in Italy.
The Parkhead club have held an interest in the Torino midfielder all summer as they look to bolster their midfield options. They have already added Mika Baur in that area but did sell Arne Engels to West Ham, and Reo Hatate could also move on.
Celtic have already had one offer for Gineitis rejected, reported to be for around £6.5million, with the Serie A side holding out for a much bigger fee.
It is now being reported by Europa Calcio that the Scottish champions have not given up their interest in the Lithuania international, and are set to return with another offer.

However, that may ony happen if they reach the UCL league phase and can tap into the increased finances that will bring. Of course, they are in a good position to do so after beating LASK 1-0 in their first leg.
Torino are claimed to be looking for €10 million (£7.5m).
Meanwhile, Martin O'Neill was pleased with the contribution of Baur on his first start last night.
He said: "He did really fine. It was a tough game to throw him into, I must admit. But he conducted himself pretty well."
