The performance was held on the Late Late to mark 25 years since Michael Flatley's show Lord of the Dance first premiered in 1996. Tubridy informed that the Irish-American dancer is currently being treated for cancer.
One Twitter user likened the performers to the "Irish version of Magic Mike" while another said "sales of black vests in Penneys hit epic levels."
Ryan sent his best wishes to Mr Flatley, saying that the preview is one of many special performances to mark the musical this year.
One Twitter user said it was "like me when I try on a dress that's too small."
Another couldn't believe they missed the moment live on air despite watching the entire show. One accompanied a host of laughing emojis along with the words: "worth the license fee just for that..."
One final comment said: "Me after a sweaty workout. Just sticks to ya."
