The late author Ajay Khullar's book 'Ekarat: Stories He Left Behind' was launched by his family-- Brigadier DK Khullar (Ajay’s father), his brother Sikandar, friends Aprurva Chamaria and Col HP Singh, along with politician Omar Abdullah, and actor Nasir Abdullah in New Delhi on April 29, 2023. The book was launched on Ajay Khullar's birthday and so, it was an evening of remembering and celebrating the author who died by suicide in February 2021.
Ajay Khullar was the Editor of Discovery India magazine, and he published two volumes of stories-- 'The Nothing Man' and 'Book of Love'-- during his lifetime. 'Ekarat: Stories He Left Behind' is a collection of his short stories and novellas, which weren't published earlier. They were collected and published in this book by his family, after his untimely death.
