According to easyJet, "Lloret de Mar has been a hit with sunseekers since the early 1970s, and although the hairstyles have changed, Lloret de Mar holidays remain as beguiling as ever.
"Not only does this Mediterranean coastal town have a family-friendly Blue Flag beach and many bars that are popular with fun-loving holidaymakers, but it also boasts hidden gems to discover. Away from the bustling, palm-lined boulevards, head to the Renaissance-inspired clifftop gardens for dazzling sea views."
But whilst you're soaking up the sun and eating the local food, the airline and holiday website reminds people: that you should "spend some time wandering the ancient church and castle. But if your main reason for visiting the Costa Brava is beachy fun, you won’t be disappointed – you’ll find everything from quiet, secluded coves to long, sandy stretches where you can play volleyball before cooling off in the azure waters of the Mediterranean. It’s safe to say that holidays to Lloret de Mar will never go out of fashion."
