Astronomy Ireland are urging everyone in Ireland to go out tonight and take a snap of the first SuperMoon of 2023.
Also known as "Buck Moon", this week's Full Moon is also a Supermoon as it is larger and 30 per cent brighter than at other times of the year. While it was already visible on Sunday and on Monday evening, tonight is the last chance for all those that didn't get out to catch the spectacular sight.
And those that take a snap and send them to Astronomy Ireland as the best ones will be published in a coming issue of their magazine.
Astronomy Ireland Magazine Editor David Moore said: "We are urging everyone to get creative and send us your photographs of the SuperMoon rising at approximately 10:45pm Monday, or tomorrow night at 11:20pm Tuesday.

"This is the first of four SuperMoons that occur in 2023 so there is a very exciting season of Supermoon watching ahead."
Photos of the Supermoon rising should be emailed to Astronomy Ireland magazine at magazine@astronomy.ie.
Don't worry if you miss it tonight for any reason as two more supermoons are due to take place later this summer - on 1 August and 20 August. A fourth will be visible in September.
