A large police presence was spotted on Park Street on Tuesday (May 16) following reports of anti-social behaviour. Video footage captured by an eyewitness shows multiple police cars parked outside The Berkeley JD Wetherspoons pub near the Triangle.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said officers had been called out at around 5.20pm to reports of anti-social behaviour in the area. It was reported there was a large gathering of people who were causing a 'nuisance' at a number of pubs in the area.
Police at the scene worked with the people involved and the businesses to maintain order and prevent a breach of the peace, the spokesperson said.

Officers remained in the area through the evening as a precaution. CCTV was also monitored for anti-social activity.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "Officers attended Park Street and Clifton Triangle area of Bristol yesterday (Tuesday 16 May) following reports of antisocial behaviour.
"The first call was received at approximately 5.20pm and we were informed there was a large group of people causing a nuisance at various licensed premises. Officers engaged with the individuals involved and local businesses to try to prevent a breach of the peace.
"A police presence remained in the area throughout the evening as a precaution and CCTV was also monitored."
