Two vehicles were damaged in a fire after "large explosions" were heard on a residential street.
One resident of Clun Terrace in Cathays, Cardiff, said "the whole street woke up due to a big explosion" at about 5.15am on Saturday. He added: "We heard some large explosions and that’s when I saw the car on fire.
"We called 999, they said that they were aware of the issue and that firefighters were en route. Quite a few neighbours were out on the street by this point."
