Gardai have seized over €92,000 worth of cocaine in North Dublin.
One man, in his 40s, has been arrested in connection with the seizure, which took place in the Hampton Wood area of Finglas yesterday at around 5.30pm. Gardai observed a male acting in a suspicious manner and when they approached the man, he fled on foot.
However he did not get fan and was arrested a short distance away. He was then taken to Ballymun Garda station.

The man was found carrying €70k worth of suspected cocaine in a large tube. He also had €8,120 worth of suspected cocaine in a sealed bag and a digital weighing scales.
Gardai seized €14,000 worth of suspected cocaine at a subsequent search of an apartment in the Balcurris Park East area of Ballymun. The arrest comes as part of Operation Tara, an ongoing investigation, involving a number of searches targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the north Dublin area.
