Multiple residents have been evacuated from their homes in a Falkirk street where an explosion took place at a house.
Emergency services are currently at the scene in Broomage Crescent, Larbert, after the alarm was raised shortly before 1.30pm on Saturday.
One man has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary but his condition is unknown.
There are no further casualties.
People are being told to stay away from the scene as fire crews and search and rescue teams comb through the area.
At least 20 homes have been evacuated and displaced residents have taken shelter at a local social club.
One eyewitness told how she saw a mum and her baby running from the street moments after the explosion.
Speaking to the Record, Lisa Reid, 29, said: “I was dropping my friend off minutes after it happened, and only a few police cars arrived.
“Everyone was standing out in their gardens looking totally shocked. A few people ran down towards the house.
"There was a girl and her baby running towards the end of the street.
“She had a blanket over the baby because of all the smoke - she looked totally terrified.
"Then lots of police and fire engines arrived followed by ambulances.
"The police were shouting to everyone to get as far away from the street as possible.
“It was so scary.”
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service currently has six appliances and specialist resources at the scene as crews work to extinguish the blaze.
The affected home has partially collapsed as a result of the inferno.
It is unknown how much damage has been caused to neighbouring properties.
A large police cordon has been put in place with numerous officers still in attendance.
Residents described the scene as "like something out of a movie" as heavy black smoke billowed from the terraced house.
The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed they had sent a range of resources to the scene as they transported one patient to hospital.
