Essendon coach Brad Scott will consider altering his forward-line structure as he braces to be without injured spearhead Kyle Langford for at least a month of the AFL season.

Langford (hamstring) and defender Jordan Ridley (concussion) were both hurt during the Bombers' first-up 17.9 (111) to 12.13 (85) loss to Hawthorn at the MCG on Friday night.
