The landlords of a pub in Nottinghamshire pub have announced they are leaving "with great sadness". The Generous Briton in Main Street, Costock, told customers the news on social media on Friday, August 19.
They will be leaving in two weeks' time and have told staff the news, saying they are unable to discuss the details of the decision. They have thanked their loyal customers calling it a "pleasure" to run the pub.
In a Facebook post, they said: "It is with great sadness and regret that I find myself writing to inform you all of our departure from The Generous Briton. We will be leaving in two weeks time. Our staff have been informed this morning.
