Lancashire Cricket hail profits rise after 'incredibly difficult challenge'

Lancashire Cricket have hailed a rise in profits after overcoming the "incredibly difficult challenge" of responding to the Covid-19 pandemic during 2021.

The Emirates Old Trafford club have reported a surplus of more than £1.8m for their latest financial year, up from the £106,000 it posted in 2020.

However, the latest figure is below the £5m surplus Lancashire Cricket achieved in 2019.
