A thug convicted of a knife and hammer attack has been jailed for more than four years.
Lee Hamilton, 32, was found guilty of assaulting the victim to severe injury, permanent disfigurement and danger of life, and robbing them.
Co-accused William Smith, 31, of Imperial Drive, Airdrie, was cleared of the charge.
