Lanarkshire teen in Harry Styles prom date hoax admits she knew it wasn't him on radio show

A radio show hoaxed its listeners when it claimed Harry Styles was going to partner a Lanarkshire teenager to her high school prom.

Superfan Anna Carty, from Wishaw, got in touch with DJ Katy J on Capital FM to say she needed some help finding a date for her school dance this week.

The show then played a voice message they said was from Harry, 28, telling her he’d love to come as he’d be in Glasgow for a sell-out concert at Ibrox Stadium on Saturday.
