Calculating kids and 'sum' special challenges added up to a day of competitive fun at a Coatbridge school.
St Andrew's High hosted its annual maths contest involving pupils its associated primary schools.
The eight schools involved were St Stephen's, St Monica's, St Mary's, Our Lady and St. Joseph's, St Timothy's, Corpus Christi, St Bernard's and St Patrick's.
Each pupil formed teams who took part in three rounds - fastest ramp, quickfire stations and the relay - packed full of number-themed challenges.
Nothing subtracted from the hard work and talented skills on show as everyone rose to the occasion and only 12 points separated the winning school and the runner-up.
Corpus Christi Primary's group, Nadia Sysak, Mirren McLaughlin, Phoenix Pellowe and Peter O'Donnell, came out on top with an impressive 360 points.
Running them close was second place Our Lady and St Joseph's Primary's Matthew Cameron, Nishli Jayalath, Megan Shankland and Nicholas Asken who finished with 352 points.
St Andrew's High maths teacher Kierean Boyle told Lanarkshire Live : "It was a very close contest indeed, which shows how skilled all of the pupils are.
"Staff members Mr Bryans, Mr Martin and Mrs Watt were on hand to run the event, and help collate the final scores.
"The maths challenge is always a highlight of the school's calendar and we'd like to thank everyone for taking part - and congratulate Corpus Christi Primary on their victory."
