A Coatbridge youngster celebrated an arresting achievement as part of her drive to raise awareness about possible post-education careers.
Chloe Leek led an activity to interview a former police officer and share her findings about his time in the profession with other pupils at Buchanan High.
Chloe is a young STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) leader at the school and has proved her ability to offer advice and be a sounding board for her fellow students on many occasions.
A Buchanan High School spokesperson told Lanarkshire Live : "Chloe was delighted to interview a former police officer, Mr Kennedy, on behalf of the school.
"She is driven to highlight the range of careers available to school leavers and her fellow pupils were very interested in her findings.
"Chloe presented details from her interview with Mr Kennedy in the school and it made a lot of youngsters interested in finding out more about working in the police force.
"Chloe does a wonderful job as a young STEM leader at the school and is used to taking on a lot of responsibility.
"Well wish to congratulate Chloe on her work with the interview, and everything that she is doing to support her classmates."
