Rianne Downey has had an amazing two years since breaking out on the Glasgow music scene.
From playing across the UK and supporting some of the biggest names in music, Rianne is making a name for herself with her infectious and catchy tunes.
Having recently moved to Liverpool, the singer returned to Scotland this weekend to play the festival, with a slot on the River stage.
The Bellshill-raised singer told Lanarkshire Live: “I still can’t believe the opportunities I have had through my music.
“Sometimes I have to pinch myself when I see my name on the line-up alongside some of my favourite artists.
“To say I’m sharing a festival with Paolo Nutini and Lewis Capaldi is just mental to me.
“This is my second time playing at TRNSMT and the first with my band. I genuinely love it here and I love coming home to play shows in Glasgow.”
Rianne has just released her new song, Devils Gonna Get You, and plans on getting more music out there.
She’s told fans to sit tight and wait on some big announcements soon.
“I have a tour coming up and some really good music to get out there too.
“I’m playing some more festivals over the summer and I’m supporting The View at their comeback shows in December.
“There’s so much more to come from me and I just want to keep pushing myself and seeing how far I can go.
“It’s a really exciting time and I’m so grateful to be able to put Bellshill on the map.”
