A Lanarkshire pub is celebrating success after being crowned the best in Glasgow and the West by CAMRA.
The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) presented the prestigious award to the owners of The Weavers Bar, which is based on Green Street in Strathaven.
The Weavers will now go on to compete with fellow branch winners in Scotland and Northern Ireland in a bid to be crowned pub of the year.

Although the bar has previously won CAMRA's Best in Lanarkshire prize, they have never scooped the overall Best in Glasgow and the West prize. The popular community venue is described as an: "award-winning, family-run pub specialising in real ales situated in the heart of Strathaven."
Sharing their joy on social media, pub owners said: "We're delighted to announce that we've been crowned Branch Pub of the Year for the west of Scotland for the first time by CAMRA Glasgow!
"Thank you to all our customers for your continued support, it makes moments like this all the more special!"
Upon handing over the award to bar owner Brendan and his wife Julie, CAMRA said: "Our congratulations go to Brendan and his team for supplying customers with consistently good beer and hospitality."
