Lanarkshire police launch desperate appeal to find man missing over four days

Police are appealing for help to trace a Lanarkshire man who has been missing from his home since Sunday.

Dylan Sewell of Motherwell has been missing from the town for the four days since August 21 – and was last seen yesterday, Wednesday August 24, in Greenock.

The 21-year-old is also known to visit Coatbridge and Glasgow, with officers now asking Dylan - or anyone who knows where he is - to get in touch.

Dylan is described as 5ft 10in tall, with black hair and glasses, and was wearing a black North Face tracksuit.

He was last seen at Finnart Street in Greenock between 12.30pm and 1pm on August 24.

PC Lauren Sands told Lanarkshire Live: “We would ask that anyone who has seen Dylan or knows where he is contact police.

“He is known to frequent Coatbridge and Glasgow city centre as well as, on this occasion, Greenock.

“We’d also ask Dylan to get in touch with police to let us now he is safe and well.”

Anyone with any information should contact police on 101.

Alternatively, information can be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
