A Lanakrshire paedophile, on the run from police, has been arrested in Thailand.
William Dempster was convicted of being found in possession of indecent images of children in May 2014.
The 46-year-old fled the UK before he could be sentenced amid fears he'd travelled to Thailand.

Police Scotland revealed that sick Dempster was hunted down in Pattaya, a city on Thailand's eastern Gulf coast on Monday, May 30.
The monster was traced after a huge probe that involved Police Scotland, the National Crime Agency and the Royal Thai Police.
Dempster is now 'subject to extradition proceedings'.
Police Scotland confirmed the arrest on Monday afternoon.
A spokesperson said: "Police Scotland can confirm that a 46-year-old man from Lanarkshire, convicted of being found in possession of indecent images of children, in 2014 has been arrested in Thailand on an international warrant today, Monday, May 30.
"William Dempster was convicted in May 2014 and fled the UK before he could be sentenced and was believed to have travelled to Thailand.
"Following extensive enquiries by Police Scotland, the National Crime Agency and the Royal Thai Police, Dempster was arrested in Pattaya and will now be subject to extradition proceedings.
