Dr Lisa Cameron MP welcomed the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy for Freedom of Religion/Belief to East Kilbride’s Our Lady of Lourdes Church this week.
Rt Hon Fiona Bruce MP attended a meeting with local church leaders and members of the community to speak about her work helping persecuted religious minorities internationally.
The meeting also heard from Aid to the Church in Need and was attended by a variety of faith groups including Hare Krishna representatives from Lesmahagow and ministers from Claremont Parish, Moncreiff Parish, Strathaven’s Outreach Community Church and representatives of the Bishops Conference to highlight a few.
