Lanarkshire concert-goers are waking up to the news that tonight's much anticipated Red Hot Chili Peppers gig has been cancelled.
The show was due to take place at Bellahouston Park tonight, Friday, July 1.
But the American rockstars have been foced to call off the show due to "illness".
A statement from the band on Friday said: "Due to illness RHCP will not be able to perform in Glasgow tonight July 1.
"We are working on ways to reschedule this show. Please hold onto your tickets and wait for an update soon.
"RHCP love Scotland and are deeply disappointed not to be able to perform the show. Thank you for your patience and understanding."
The band were due to finish the European leg of their tour where they’ve been promoting their 12th studio album ‘Unlimited Love’.
Ticket buyers have been contacted with an update on their ticket and all tickets for the rescheduled show will be valid.
