Doctors were forced to amputate a dad's leg after he tripped on his pyjamas and fell downstairs.
Chris Masterton broke his leg and dislocated his angle when he took a tumble at his Lanarkshire home.
Two weeks later he underwent surgery at Wishaw General Hospital to insert pins and plates to support his ailing limb, the Daily Record reports.
